The Beatles 'Let It Be' 40th Anniversary Celebration Concert

Let It Be was the twelfth and final studio album by The Beatles. It was released on 8 May 1970 by the band's Apple Records label shortly after the group's announced break-up.
Triple A Events has just announced "The Beatles 'Let It Be' 40th Anniversary Celebration Concert", a three hour event compéred by Jeff Phillips and featuring some of Australia's greatest musical talent including Darryl Cotton, Brian Mannix, Marcie Jones, and Billy Miller performing a selection of The Beatles' Greatest Hits.
In addition, the award winning BEATELS will perform the entire 'Let It Be' album featuring original instruments from the 'Let It Be' era. The event forms part of the MELBOURNE MUSIC FESTIVAL and will be staged at the Melbourne Town Hall, site of the famous 1964 Beatles balcony photograph, from 7.00pm on Tuesday October 5, 2010.
